The Power Predictor has an integrated anemometer, wind vane
and solar sensor to give you comprehensive data collection.
Powerful doesn't mean complicated!
Data is collected via the mini computer housed in the
waterproof logger housing. A standard 9V battery powers the
data logger giving over six months of
continuous recording. The data is stored on a removable
memory card which links to a PC for upload to the Power
Predictor website using a supplied
USB connector. Aura Wind Power can take the hassle out of
all aspects of the analysis of the data with a range of
packages to suit your preferred level of input to the
evaluation of your site.
Once the Power Predictor is mounted you or Aura Wind Power
can upload the first 30 days of data to your own Power
Predictor web page where the analysis is conducted. This
begins the process of your sites evaluation. The Power
Predictor comes with a 12 months software analysis licence
which produces evaluation, reports, and estimations on wind
and solar resources and prices of wind turbines. You may
move the Power Predictor 3 times during the 12 months
software licence period to trial the best location for your
potential wind or solar system. Subsequent licences can be
purchased or talk to AURA about renting a Power Predictor.
