The Rutland 913 is one of the most highly regarded small

specially designed for boating applications with its small
compact design and quality appointments, which makes this a

conditions. With a unique 3 phase alternator the Rutland
913 gives generous power even in the lightest of breezes.
The Rutland 913 is also very quiet with the specially
designed 6 blade configuration. The Rutland 913 is not
suitable for some land based applications where the turbine
is left unattended. For land based application please see

turbine is manufactured to the highest of standards with
modern, UV stable durable materials for reliability in

High Output for a Small Turbine!
The Rutland 913 turbines are designed with a unique high
inertia alternator which maintains momentum between wind
gusts.
The Rutland 913 employs a low friction 3 phase alternator
which gives smooth and silent operation. The low speed
start up creates power continuously. The alternator
windings and magnets are totally encapsulated for improved
protection against stator winding failure. The Rutland 913
is equipped with an automatic thermostat that protects the
generator from overheating in prolonged gales.
Rutland 913 turbines are made from computer designed
efficient aerofoil blades. They have a unique and positive
one way only fit and have been tested to withstand a
loading with a safety factor 10 times the turbine’s maximum
rpm.
Mounting: Steel pipe (stainless
Steel recommended in marine environments) 41mm internal
diameter external diameter 48mm. The turbine has 360 degree
free rotation on the mounting pole. The "Post Adaptor" that
secures the turbine to the pole carries the slipring and
brushgear enabling the turbine to rotate 360 degrees freely
to find the wind without wires twisting inside the mounting
pole. This post fixing is anodised enabling the user to
select either an aluminium or stainless steel pole without
corrosion concerns.
